Users can easily access and sync their Microsoft accounts, OneDrive, and Microsoft Office apps, allowing for a more streamlined and productive workflow. In terms of its user interface, Microsoft Edge has a visually appealing design that is easy to navigate. The browser also has advanced security features, such as built-in tracking prevention, password monitoring, and malware protection, which provide users with enhanced privacy and protection from online threats. Moreover, Microsoft Edge integrates seamlessly with other Microsoft tools and services, which is a huge advantage for users who rely heavily on Microsoft products. One of its major advantages is its efficient use of memory and CPU resources, which results in faster and smoother browsing. Pros: Microsoft Edge has several features that make it stand out from other popular web browsers. Password manager is much advanced than Google Chrome, Microsoft edge can suggest you stronger passwords and seamlessly store and sync them This way you don't have to use another password manager software. It can read aloud any web pages and even pdf files and you can choose the accent of your choice to listen. Read aloud s the coolest feature on Microsoft edge. Additionally, when you try to download any types of executable files from website and the smart screen feature analyses the download and it will immediately terminate the download if found to be from malicious in nature. This is a great built-in feature that warns you about suspicious websites. Web capture is something that I use almost every day and this built in feature lets you take screenshots quickly without relying on extensions or other software. This is a great feature for enterprise use.Ībility to use extensions in private mode, I could never do this with google chrome. At my office, we always have the Strict option enabled to prevent tracking of our browsing data. Many websites rely on trackers to gather data about your internet browsing. Robust privacy features like blocking trackers. Pros: Fast and stable, having used various browsers I have found that Microsoft edge consumes comparatively lesser RAM even when multi tasking. So these are the couple of things that I would like to improve on the platform. I do tend to find the browser heavier as compared to other browsers and that takes a lot of memory when I'm using my Microsoft Edge, I do need to avoid it at time. The other thing that I would like to see Microsoft Edge improve is just the usage of system power and RAM. And thus, I do use other browsers as well when I need speed of execution. So a couple of things that Microsoft Edge could improve is, one, is the browser is on the slower side as compared to other browsers. It also has a good user interface where you are able to see the recently used tools and websites in a neatly packed bar right at the bottom, that enables you to quickly check into those apps and websites whenever you want to revisit them after you open the browser again. They also have a cool feature called Collections that allows you to really put all the tabs that are related together in collections. So the cool thing about Microsoft Edge is it has good integration with other Microsoft products and that enables seamless use across their entire suite of products like Windows, Office 365, SharePoint, OneDrive it's really easy. I do also heavily use it for other cloud platforms like SharePoint, OneDrive, and that enables me to collaborate with my colleagues through that cloud platform. I also use it for browsing and searching things on Google and obviously, opening a lot of websites. I use Microsoft Edge to browse the internet, mainly use it for opening my email account, my calendar. For further reviews like this, click below.
